A PAIR OF LEAD SPHINXES

Location: Compton Verney House, South Leicestershire

This pair of Sphinxes required new stainless steel armatures and security fixings, as well as general repairs and restoration of a damaged surface in certain areas. The sculptures retained remains of original paint but had sustained surface damage from air rifle pellets.
