Standard electrode potential

Also known as standard potential. The reversible potential of an electrode process when all reactants and products are at unit activity on a scale in which the potential for the standard hydrogen half-cell is zero. This term is important in theoretical considerations, but is of limited value to the practical corrosion engineer.
