FOUR DRINKING FOUNTAINS

Late 19th - early 20th Century

Client: The City of London Corporation

Location: City Open Spaces

Under contract to the City of London, we regularly maintain over 80 public sculptures, fountains and plaques.  We also conserved these drinking fountains in 2002.  We are currently conserving the Finsbury Circus Gardens Gazebo Drinking Fountain (bottom left), off site. It will be reinstated once Crossrail works in the area are complete.

Clockwise from left:  the James and Mary Ann Ward Drinking Fountain, St Martin's Le Grand; the Robert H. Rogers Drinking Fountain, Corner of Aldermanbury and Love Lane; the Gazebo Drinking Fountain, Finsbury Circus Gardens (currently off site); the Bowling Green Drinking Fountain, also in Finsbury Circus Gardens.
